This paper explores selenium-modified microgels as interfacial catalysts for the environmentally friendly oxidation of aromatic aldehydes. Using mild reaction conditions and hydrogen peroxide as a green oxidant, microgels demonstrate versatility across various aldehydes and solvent systems while offering excellent reusability, positioning these microgels as promising candidates for sustainable oxidation processes.
