Effect of Acrylic Monomer Formulation on Photocuring and Water Swelling Ability of PVA Hydrogel

Abstract

This research aim was to develop photocross-linkable hydrogel compositions based on polyvinyl alcohol, photoinitiator and functional acrylate monomers, to study their cross-linking under UV irradiation and the swelling ability in water of the obtained photocross-linked materials.
