Інтеграція цифрових технологій у підготовку майбутніх перекладачів

Abstract

This article examines the integration of digital technologies into the training of future translators, with particular reference to the Erasmus+ DigiFLEd project and its specialised course Translation Technologies, which uses Trados Studio for senior students. It analyses the functionality and applicability of digital platforms, including Trados Studio, memoQ, Phrase, MateCat, Protemos, QA Distiller, Xbench, Subtitle Edit, and Aegisub, in the context of multilingual and multi-genre translation. The study demonstrates that these platforms enhance the management of translation memories, terminological databases, and project workflows, support team collaboration, enable quality assurance, and develop skills in audiovisual translation. The findings indicate that systematic use of these digital tools fosters technological competence, critical thinking, and professional autonomy among trainees, providing comprehensive preparation for real-world translation tasks across business, scientific, technical, and socio-political domains.
