Abstract
The article explores the key distinctions, advantages, and limitations of human translation compared to AI-based and machine translation systems. It examines the evolution of translation technologies and their growing influence on the translation profession. Particular attention is paid to the aspects of accuracy, contextual awareness, cultural adaptation, and stylistic quality. The study emphasizes that while artificial intelligence and machine translation have reached impressive levels of fluency and speed, human translators still play an essential role in ensuring semantic depth, emotional nuance, and ethical responsibility.
