Dear Colleagues! We are pleased to invite you to the International Scientific and Practical Conference titled «REBUILDING UKRAINE IN THE POST-WAR PERIOD: CHALLENGES, STRATEGIC PRIORITIES, RESOURCE SUPPORT, AND FUTURE DEVELOPMENT POTENTIAL», dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the relocation of Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University from Donetsk to Vinnytsia.
The conference will be held in a hybrid format, with in-person sessions at Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University in Vinnytsia and online participation via video conferencing, on October 10-11, 2024.
Ukrainian and English will be the working languages of the conference, including all printed materials, presentations, and discussions.
The conference will address a broad range of topics, including:
- The role of information technology in protecting national interests;
- Restoring territories affected by armed conflicts and rebuilding the Ukrainian public sector;
- Reconstructing Ukraine’s post-war socio-economic system: management practices, support mechanisms, and international partnerships;
- European integration as a key factor in Ukraine’s post-war recovery;
- Legal frameworks for Ukraine’s post-war recovery;
- Security dimensions in the context of post-war recovery;
- Environmental restoration efforts following the war;
- Personal and situational determinants of well-being in the contexts of war and peace;
- Current trends and prospects in intercultural communication during post-war development;
- Protection and restoration of Ukraine’s historical and cultural heritage;
- Implementing open science principles in modern universities.
In addition to the focus on Ukraine’s post-war recovery, the conference will feature discussions on the successful implementation of open science principles at universities in various countries, including Ukraine, as part of the OPTIMA project «Open Practices, Transparency, and Integrity for Modern Academia» (Erasmus+ KA2 618940-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).
The conference will serve as a platform for exchanging ideas, sharing experiences, and developing strategies for the successful future recovery of Ukraine. We look forward to your participation!
