Abstract
Metamodernism is a cultural and philosophical term that emerged in the mid-2000s and gained popularity, particularly in the context of art, culture, and literature. It is characterized by a nuanced and complex approach to the contemporary human experience. The essence of metamodernism can be understood through the idea that it exists in a space between or beyond the traditional distinctions of modernism and postmodernism. It recognizes the polarizing and paradoxical nature of the human experience and aims to navigate this complexity.
