The Influence of Chan’nel Curvature and Spacer Geometry on Flow Characteristics in Membrane Module Channels

Abstract

The efficiency of membrane processes depends on the hydrodynamic conditions within the channels of membrane modules, particularly the channel curvature and spacer configuration. This study focuses on analyzing the influence of membrane module element curvature on hydrodynamic characteristics using computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
