Visual Disinformation: Challenges of Trust and Security

Анотація

The study examines visual disinformation risks in the age of generative AI. It conceptualizes a dual trust risk: accepting misleading images as evidence and dismissing authentic evidence as fabricated. A seven-criterion, risk-oriented approach is proposed to connect content verification with responsible use and safety-related decisions.
