Анотація
The theses focus on how a generative AI model, particularly ChatGPT, can help activate the passive vocabulary of students who study English as their second foreign language after German. The paper explores how interaction with AI can transform passive lexical knowledge into active use through personalized prompts, communicative tasks, and creative language activities. It also highlights the pedagogical potential of generative AI in increasing learners’ motivation, enhancing their speaking competence, and improving the overall effectiveness of vocabulary acquisition.
