The conditions of evaporation of a sulfuric drop are consideredacid moving in a gas stream. The influence of is investigated intensifying factors (initial temperature and drop velocity) on the evaporation of a single drop. It is hown that the evaporation of sulfuric acid solutions in hollow column apparatus is inefficient. It is theoretically substantiated that multiple dispersion of the liquid and high values of the relative droplet velocity significantly reduce the evaporation time.
