Робота підготовлена в напряму історія освіти і присвячена становленню економічних спеціальностей в Слов’янському фаховому коледжі Національного авіаційного університету. Найбільше увага приділена характеристиці кадрового складу, які забезпечували і забезпечують зараз викладання навчальних дисциплін на зазначених спеціальностях, що сприяє "залюдненню" історії, ставить особистісний фактор в центрі описаних подій. Викликає певну стурбованість етична сторона, коли одній з авторок присвячена частина представленого тексту. Обмеженою виглядає джерелознавча основа роботи.
