Topological optimization of mass characteristics of a lower limb prosthesis stump receiver using SolidWorks

Abstract

Topological optimization of the 3D model of the stump receiver of the lower limb prosthesis was carried out in order to reduce its mass. The resulting model is suitable for the manufacture of a functional stump receiver of the prosthesis using additive manufacturing methods and is characterized by a reduced mass while maintaining the initial strength of the structure.
