Abstract
The synthesis of organic-inorganic bromide perovskites from aqueous and nonaqueous solutions was carried out and their crystallographic structure and electronic structure were investigated. The predominant growth of nanoclusters along the [h00] direction was found, which is associated with the use of a polar solvent containing electronegative oxygen atoms. This preferential crystallographic orientation opens up the prospects for efficient transportation of charge carriers in solar perovskite cells.
