Sol-gel synthesis of organic/inorganic materials with high proton conductivity

Abstract

Methods for the synthesis and modification of novel functional sulfo-containing polyacrylate materials have been developed. The use of sol-gel technology made it possible to obtain hybrid organic/inorganic materials with high structural homogeneity. The resulting nanocomposite materials are characterized by high proton conductivity and have promising applications in solid-state fuel cells as proton-conducting membranes.
