International Scientific and Practical Conference       
"Road safety ensuring: global and local solutions"

The conference is timed to the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims which is held every year on the 3rd Sunday of November, according to the Resolution of the UN General Assembly. Since 2006, the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs has been holding international scientific and practical conferences aimed at solving urgent issues of transport safety.

The purpose of the events within the conference is to consolidate the actions of representatives of the state bodies, scientific institutions, public organizations, and media aimed at solving road safety problems, the approbation of progressive views, ideas, and innovative technologies, as well as the development of joint projects and proposals for legislation. 

Following the ideas of the II Decade of Actions on Road Safety 2021-2030, the International Scientific and Practical Conference " Road safety ensuring: global and local solutions " put forward next discussion themes:

1. Rethinking about mobility in locality;
2. The role and place of public authorities in the road safety system;
3. The creation of safe conditions for sustainable mobility during the rebuilding of the destroyed infrastructure in Ukraine;
4. The strategic directions of the national legislation reforming in road safety sphere in European countries;
5. Environmental safety in the sustainable mobility system;
6. Preservation of life and health of road users;
7. The role of the law enforcement and judicial system in safe mobility formation.
8. The globe advanced practices of implementation of road safety in public policy
