Abstract

Mixed iron oxide/manganese oxide and iron oxide/cobalt oxide nanoparticles were synthesized by mixing ferrous chloride, ferric chloride, ammonium hydroxide, and manganese or cobalt chloride, followed by stirring, heating, and treatment with oleic acid. The size of magnetic nanotracers was analyzed using Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) and used as magnetic markers for liquid feed mixing quality assessment.
