The characteristics of banana peel-derived carbon and its potential utility in energy storage devices

Abstract

The main aim of this work is to present banana peel hard carbon as a candidate for electrode material for electrochemical power sources. The test yielded a capacitance of ~ 50 F g-1 for the supercapacitor and perfect cyclic reversibility.
