Abstract

Thermal analysis was carried out and the heat of combustion of the experimental fuel was determined in order to study the influence of polyethylene on the properties of fuel from municipal solid waste. It is shown that fuel samples with a high polyethylene content have high values of net calorific value and intense gas formation.
